Justin Gottuso is an Associate with Renzulli Law Firm and a member of the firm’s national litigation and intellectual property practice groups. 

Justin advises businesses and insurers on litigation, intellectual property, and data-related disputes, with a practice that spans both courtroom advocacy and brand protection strategy. He represents clients in civil litigation and contractual disputes while also guiding them through intellectual property enforcement, domain name conflicts, and data privacy compliance.

Working at the intersection of litigation and IP, Justin helps clients not only respond to disputes but actively protect and leverage their assets. He manages and enforces trademark portfolios, develops strategies to address infringement, and advises on practical risk mitigation in transactional and operational contexts. His work frequently involves coordinating enforcement efforts, resolving disputes efficiently, and aligning legal strategy with broader business goals. Justin serves clients who need both litigation capability and day-to-day IP counsel, often stepping into matters where legal, technical, and commercial considerations overlap.

He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he was a member of the Pace Law Review and a Tort Law Dean’s Scholar. He received his B.A. in Philosophy from the State University of New York at Cortland, with minors in Law & Justice and Peace & Conflict Studies.

Justin is admitted to practice law in New York State courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
