Overview
Peter V. Malfa is a Partner with Renzulli Law Firm. Peter is an accomplished litigator and commercial counselor with experience handling complex matters across a broad array of subject matters. As part of Renzulli Law Firm’s national litigation practice, Peter represents domestic and foreign clients in complex commercial and business tort litigation and has extensive experience with high-stakes consumer production litigation, fraud, theft, and embezzlement disputes and investigations, breaches of major and complex contracts, international trade and U.S. Customs litigation, claims based on violation of federal and state RICO laws, trademark and patent litigation, product liability litigation, and disputes concerning high net worth individuals. He also represents private corporations in matters involving federal civil rights, federal and state tax, employment issues, and the constitutionality of state statutes.
Peter interacts regularly with directors, officers, and executives of multi-national corporations on a variety of matters, and provides counsel on a broad range of complex transactions, import/export compliance involving highly regulated products, business and product line acquisitions, corporate governance, the development, management and expansion of consumer product lines, and international finance and banking matters.
Peter earned his B.A., with honors, from Fairfield University (Fairfield, Conn.) where he majored in Politics with a minor in Business Law, Regulation and Ethics. He attended Quinnipiac University School of Law (Hamden, Conn.) where he earned his J.D., cum laude, with dual concentrations in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and Criminal Law and Advocacy, which he received honors in both.
Peter is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the State of Connecticut, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
