John Renzulli presented a lecture to guests at the Damages Seminar presented by the Defense Research Institute (DRI) in Las Vegas in March 2009. Renzulli’s lecture focused on one of the most difficult variables in litigation — where defense counsel is litigating far from home in an unfamiliar jurisdiction, often in the plaintiff’s backyard.
A link to Renzulli’s course materials is located below, which is a must read for any trial counsel or general counsel facing litigation in foreign jurisdictions. Renzulli’s lecture was borne from experience in the field, having litigated numerous cases in foreign territories and winning in those cases.
John Renzulli is a frequent commentator on trial strategies and an active participant in DRI events and programs.
