Renzulli Law Firm, LLP represented Glock, Inc. in a case brought against one of its former distributors and its president and sole shareholder in federal court in Georgia. The case primarily involved claims that the defendants had violated the Georgia Civil RICO Act by purchasing discounted Glock pistols that were restricted to resale to the law enforcement market, and then reselling them to the commercial market at higher prices. The court previously found in favor of Glock on the issue of liability and held an evidentiary hearing on the damages to be awarded to Glock, Inc. in August. On September 25, 2017, the court issued an amended judgment awarding Glock, Inc. $3,809,434.71 in damages, and an additional $1,612,876.92 in attorney fees and costs, jointly and severally against both defendants.
